As your County Commissioner, I have stood strong against rising taxes - successfully  passing a tax decrease or no tax increase in 16 of the last 17 years. I also implemented a program to saveCounty taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars by putting work release and minimum security prisoners to work on the roads in Tarrant  County. I understand how important each and  every dollar is to you and your family. That's why I will continue to fight for lower taxes and to protect senior citizen tax exemptions.

Testimonials

  • Thanks to J.D. Johnson, Tarrant County's property tax rate is the second lowest of all urban Texas counties. He works tirelessly to deliver results without raising taxes. He's a proven taxpayers' champion
